ENG: In the hungarian language the verb -to have- means also tenure, but we use it different then in the italian language. The verb (van)-to have- gets the form of the tense like now it is -volt-(past) and we use the dative form of the pronouns or we put -nak/-nek ending after the word what it has reference to. These pronouns are the following: (meanings in order: for me, for you, for him/her, for us, for you, for them)
io, i , én- nekem, tu, you, te- neked, egli, he/she/it, ő- neki, mi- nekünk, ti- nektek, ők- nekik
For example, például:
Who had birthday? -Kinek volt születésnapja?
She had birthday. -Neki volt születésnapja.
or
Péter had birthday. -Péternek volt születésnapja.
In the last example we used the name+ the -nak/-nek ending because it had reference to Péter.
